Frequently Asked Questions

Get answers to common questions about Volume Lash Extensions.

Volume lash extensions generally last through a natural lash cycle, about four to six weeks. We recommend fills every two to three weeks to maintain fullness. Longevity depends on your natural shedding, skin type, and aftercare routine.

When applied by a certified technician with proper technique and adhesive, volume extensions are safe. Avoid oil-based products, excessive rubbing, and overdue fills. If you have sensitive eyes or conditions, discuss a patch test or alternative options during consultation.

Volume lashes can be tailored from soft, natural-looking fans to bold, dramatic sets. Your technician will customize fan size, curl, and density to suit daytime wear or special occasions while keeping a flattering shape for your eye.

A full-set volume appointment typically takes 90 to 180 minutes depending on desired density and customization. Fills usually require 45 to 90 minutes. Allow time for consultation, mapping, and adhesive curing to ensure optimal results.

Aftercare keeps lashes looking their best: avoid water and steam for 24–48 hours, skip oil-based products, cleanse gently with recommended cleansers, brush daily with a spoolie, and avoid rubbing or tugging to prolong retention and health.

You can wear makeup, but avoid oil-based cosmetics and waterproof formulas around the lash line. Use water-based, non-oily products and gentle removers. If you choose mascara, use only extension-safe formulas sparingly and remove carefully to protect the bonds.
